Nevada Supreme Court Commission to Study the Adjudication of Water Law Cases
On March 9, 2021, the Nevada Supreme Court formed a Commission to Study the Adjudication of Water Law Cases with the goal of improving education, training, specialization, and efficiency in Nevada's district courts for the judicial review of water law cases. This led to the establishment of Supreme Court Rule 18—Nevada Rules for District Court Water Judges, outlining the process for assigning water law cases to certified judges.
