Map Services
Map services offer access to spatial features and data by allowing you to view and query datasets within your preferred mapping application such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap and QGIS. When you use NDWR's map services, you are working with the most current GIS datasets available, as many datasets are updated every day. Please see the following instructions on how to connect to NDWR's map services.

Download Data using ArcGIS Pro
- Open ArcGIS Pro. From the Map tab, go to Add Data. Select "Add Data from path".
- Enter the URL for the specific map service (or layer) you would like to view. See REST service link above for a list of map services. Map services can be used for viewing data. Feature services can be used for downloading data.
- As an example, for Points of Divsion, use this URL: https://arcgis.water.nv.gov/arcgis/rest/services/NDWR/Water_Rights_Points_of_Diversion/FeatureServer
- Keep the default service type as "An ArcGIS Server Web Service" and click Add.
- To download data from a feature service, select the layer in ArcGIS Pro. Right click the layer to select Data, then Export Features.
