The Diamond Valley Groundwater Management Plan Advisory Board and the Nevada Division of Water Resources (NDWR) will hold their annual election meeting on April 15, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. in the downstairs meeting room of the Eureka Opera House.
With Year 4 of the Groundwater Management Plan now complete, four seats on the Advisory Board need to be filled. Seat 1 must be filled by someone representing mining, and Seats 2, 6, and 7 must be filled by individuals representing agriculture. All groundwater rights holders under the plan may attend the meeting, make nominations, and vote in person. Nominations will be taken from the floor, and vote counting will be open and recorded. Current or former board members may be re‑elected.
