The Nevada Division of Water Resources (NDWR) and the State Engineer will host a public listening session on Thursday, November 14, 2024, in Spring Creek, Nevada. This event offers an open forum for community members to share comments, offer suggestions, and ask questions regarding water-related issues. Community feedback is essential in helping the State Engineer and NDWR address Nevada’s water needs effectively.
NDWR is conducting a series of listening sessions state-wide to foster public engagement in water resource management. With water being critical to Nevada’s growth and development, these sessions provide an important platform for discussing water resource management practices. Given Elko County’s unique resources and potential for growth, the perspective of local residents is particularly valuable. Community members are encouraged to participate, share concerns, and ask questions. NDWR staff will be available to discuss water issues and engage with the community.
